This artwork was originally designed by Edward Burnes Jones (1833-1890) and produced in the William Morris & Company workshops. Drawing inspiration from the Greek and Roman mythology of the legend of Psyche and her love for Cupid. This tapestry is the right portion of a larger work called, The Ceremony, originally produced by Morris and Company (1890-1895).
